The Corner of Night and Day

The Night and Daydreamer gazes down upon enchanting streets from his hospital bed, stirring his imagination into the wild, as an escape from the alarming reality of his condition. The patient creates characters to inhabit both amusing and tragic events which become illustrations of human nature, reflecting his own desperate hopes and fears.

This half-hour drama was written, directed and mixed by Mick Francis. The play, written in hospital, is dedicated to the staff of the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and to everyone on the rocky road of recovery.
